Meet Our Team

Diane Meyerhoff, R.Ph., Pharmacist-in-Charge

My name is Diane Meyerhoff. I was raised in Marissa, IL, the youngest of 3 children. Growing up in a rural community, my hobbies as a child included horseback riding, camping and a love of the outdoors. I graduated from Marissa Jr. Sr. high school in 1983, unsure of what degree I wanted to pursue. I attended a local junior college for two years taking general studies including chemistry and biology. Since I had an interest in these areas, I then transferred to St Louis College of Pharmacy, where I received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in the spring of 1989.

Upon graduation I accepted a position as pharmacist-in-charge with Wal-Mart pharmacy in Sparta, IL. I worked there over 10 years before accepting a position at Victor Drugs, then owned by Don Daschka RPh. I was offered a position working 3 days a week starting in November 1999. Victor's was a much better fit for me, with a more personal small town atmosphere.

My husband Mark and I reside north of Sparta, close to his parent's home. We have two children, Megan, who is now a high school Spanish teacher at Marissa and Justin, who attends John A Logan Junior College.

Dean Privratsky, R.Ph.,  Pharmacist

My name is Dean Privratsky and I’m excited to have recently taken the position as Pharmacy Manager at Tony’s MediCenter Pharmacy in Steeleville and work relief at Victors MediCenter. I lived in Oregon for many years but have recently moved back to Southern Illinois.  I was born in Dickinson, North Dakota but grew up in Albany, Oregon but am excited to be in the Midwest.

When I made the decision to become a pharmacist, I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I saw pharmacy as a long term profession with an ever expanding role in healthcare.  And it seems my intuition was correct about the role of pharmacy in healthcare.  I have been a pharmacist for 37 years, the most recent years spent in Oregon where I attended pharmacy school.  In Portland, Oregon, I managed three retail chains and was a preceptor for pharmacy school students.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Peggy, our three daughters (2 of which live in Oregon and 1 in California), and our grandchildren. I’m an outdoorsmen, and enjoy landscaping and mountain biking.  Some of my other hobbies include reading and watching sports, particularly basketball and soccer. I’m enjoying the Midwest and plan to offer the best patient care possible to our pharmacy patients!
